Brittany Waters is an artist who started creating art again after a career in the design industry. Early in life she attended gifted art schools and advanced placement courses, but rather than pursuing art in college she chose a design career path. After years as a product and branding designer she felt that she was missing the process of expressing herself artistically. In 2018, she created large format charcoal portraits of her dogs as keepsakes for herself. She shared those portraits on social media and the interest in her work organically grew. Today, she has a waitlist creating portraits of dogs, cats, and even horses from around the United States. Today she is exploring this artistic revival in various mediums and subject matter offering commissions, originals, and prints.
